SOng: John Mayer - Bigger Than my Body
The concert was amazing. Just plain amazing. Maroon5 was not so amazing. They started at 8pm and when they were finished, it was still light out. They were ok. At least we heard some new songs that havent been released. John Mayer, on the other hand, is so freakin' talented and sexy. It boggles my mind. Comfortable and Bigger than My Body were my two favorite songs. He also came back for three encores which he did a very long rendition of Home Life. It was also very nice. He had split screens on the stage but did not play Split Screen Sadness which is probably my favorite song on his new cd. That made me sad but.. not really. There was a group of drunk gay men behind us and they were just calling everyone up on their cellphones screaming "OMG John Mayer is SO HOT right now!" and "AAAAHH I LOVE YOU!!!" while singing and dancing along to his music. It was funny. I had to get a picture. I left thinking dammit, that was the best spent $70 ever. My 7 month anniversary spent with my two favorite Johns. It was wonderful =) |
